Mobile Video Audience Grows 70% in Q209


Well its up to the carriers like Verizon, AT&T and Sprint and the mobile device manufacturers to take this the the next level. It’s obvious that people are liking video online and on their mobile phone.
I still find viewing video on some devices very clunky. Either the stream is bad or the phone doesn’t handle the type of video well. In any I event I still love using my mobile phone for all functions during the day and streaming video would certainly be one of them.


There are many  great ways small to mid size businesses can take advantage of mobile marketing as well. The cost of advertising and getting the message out on mobile is reasonable and effective.


“The average American now watches an all-time high of more than 141 minutes of TV per month, and mobile and online video consumption are up significantly in the second quarter of 2009,  according to Nielsen’s latest A2/M2 Three Screen Report, which measures video consumption across TV, the internet and mobile devices.”
