It’s about time the watch industry opened up. I love watches and have always adorned a simple look about them, as well as some of the more complicated looking watches. You know the ones with the 6 hands on it and you don’t know what they do. Either way there is a craft to how they are manufactured. But now, ENTER Apple and Android operating systems. They are about to revolutionize time pieces. Trust me this is the thing everyone said “I don’t need this technology”. I guarantee when these hit the street every guy will have to have one. And ladies too.

Practically every major watch manufacturer is choosing sides with Apple or Android. You will see how style and technology can work together. So what are we talking about here? It’s about a WATCH + SMARTPHONE + WEARABLE TECH = A COOL WATCH (that looks good)

Developer Preview

If you’re an avid developer, there’s a new section on developer.android.com/wear focused on wearables. Starting today, you can download a Developer Preview so you can tailor your existing app notifications for watches powered by Android Wear. They’re already working with several consumer electronics manufacturers, including Asus, HTC, LG, Motorola and Samsung; and fashion brands like the Fossil Group to bring you watches powered by Android Wear later this year.

Apple iWatch 

Apple will be without a doubt the one to look out for. This is their medium. They should own this and take the market. I love Android but I love Apple too.
